Composer Bharat Goel and singer Nikhita Gandhi’s Indie release Kamli, which was released on June 24, has crossed 1 million views on YouTube. The easy on the ear track with great production values, tells the story of a girl in awe of a boy, who she secretly admires. Mesmerised, almost in a trance, she longs for the day he becomes her lover.
Bharat who is behind the programming, composing and concept says, “Kamli is the story of secret admiration based in modern times. I have always had a very keen interest in dance music composition and production and this song gave me the opportunity to fulfil that. Nikhita was the perfect choice for the vocals and I’m glad the song clicked with the audience.”
