Jeet, a well-known actor of the Bengali film industry, is currently busy promoting his forthcoming movie ‘Chengiz’. It’s a rare Bengali film which will also release in Hindi.
The film’s trailer launch event was recently held in Mumbai, and the director and lead actors graced the event.
During the event, a reporter asked Jeet about clashing ‘Chengiz’ with the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ at the box office. Both films will release in cinemas on April 21. Jeet answered the question very smartly by saying, “We all like Salman Bhai and there is no question of releasing the film in front of him. His fan following and his way of working is on a different level. Hence, there is no question of clash.”
Jeet also said that, “The space for films has always been there and for the last several years, we are releasing our films on the occasion of Eid. That’s why we chose this date. When we shared our release plans with our Hindi distributor Anil Thadani, he also said that though a big film is releasing in Hindi, there will be some problem, but if the word of mouth of the audiences will be good for both the films, both can excel.”
