Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’ stars Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush in the lead roles. The makers dropped two posters of the movie, one of which features Sara Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar and Dhanush laughing and another, features Sara and Dhanush with their relatives in the background.
The trio also took to their social media to share their looks from the movie. The movie is a musical romantic drama with A.R Rahman’s compositions. Dhanush has also lent his voice for a song. The film’s tagline read, “A love called madness” and depicts a cross-cultural love story. Sara is heard to be seen in a double role romancing with both Akshay and Dhanush.
The film casting had created quite a buzz among the audience because of the age gap between the cast. However the maker has addressed this controversy and asked the audience to keep patience because the movie is and has a weird sense of humour. Its release was postponed because of the pandemic and it will now release on Disney+ Hotstar on 24th December.
The trailer of the movie will be dropped today and according to the director, the audience will have different interpretations to it which they have to clear out after watching the film.
