Actor Armaan Kohli has been arrested today, 29th August, after his house was raided by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday and they found a small quantity of cocaine. The raid took place at Armaan’s Juhu residence.
The NCB team later took the actor at their office in south Mumbai for questioning.
“A small quantity of cocaine has been seized from his (Armaan Kohli) house,” said Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB’s Mumbai Zonal Unit. Further investigation disclosed that, Kohli has connections with international peddlers as the seized drug has South America origin. The NCB officials also informed that, they found Armaan in an intoxicated state while his arrest.
The actor was presented in front of the city court on Sunday.
Armaan Kohli was in Salman Khan’s film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ (2015) and he was also one of the contestants in the TV reality show, ‘Big Boss’.
The actor has been arrested under sections 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30 and 35 of the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) Act.
