Anupam Kher and Amitabh Bachchan will work together again in Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film ‘Uunchai’. He worked with Amitabh Bachchan in a number of movies including ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ (1998), ‘Veer Zaara’ (2004), etc. Big B is working with Barjatya after 48 years in ‘Uunchai’. ‘Saudagar’ (1973) was their last film together.
Kher took to his Twitter handle and shared his excitement of working with Big B after so many years. He wrote, “Happy and Humbled to share the screen space once again with legendary Mr. @SrBachchan for #SoorajBarjatya’s magnum opus #Uunchai. He also shared a black and white photo of them together in the post. Big B was dressed in a warm jacket with a muffler wrapped around his neck while Kher wore a pullover. Anupam Kher has shared the same photo on his Instagram too.
The film will also star Nafisa Ali who worked with Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Major Saab’ (1998). Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta and Boman Irani are also a part of this project who are equally excited about this project. They often upload photos and videos from the hills of Nepal which is the shoot location.
‘Uunchai’ has gained a lot of attention ever since the announcement of its release. The movie will most probably be released in 2022.
