Singer-composer Amaal Mallik has turned 33 years old today on June 16 and on this grand occasion, the singer has once again collaborated with T-Series to bring fans an audio-visual delight with “Mohabbat”, an enchanting love song produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, featuring Amaal and his long-time friend and actress Aamna Sharif, who are coming together on screen for the very first time. With Amaal’s beautiful composition blended with his vocals and Vayu’s lyrics, the song is definitely a feast to the ears. To complement the captivating melody, the music video was filmed against the breath-taking landscapes of Ladakh, through the expert eye of director Krish Trivedi. Amaal, a self-proclaimed fan of Shah Rukh Khan, has incorporated elements in the visuals that pay homage to the grandeur and charm of some iconic scenes.
Bhushan Kumar said, “The song is a very melodious love track and with Amaal’s magic in it, I’m sure the song will resonate well with listeners. He very well knows how to hit the right chords with his fans.”
Amaal Mallik said, “I sang an unplugged version of this track a while ago and the reception from fans was such that I decided to work on a full-fledged track. Collaborating with Aamna Sharif for the first time has been an incredible experience, and I hope that the audience appreciates the chemistry we bring to the music video.”
