The movie is directed by Ayan Mukherjee who had started shooting the film nearly 5 years ago. The filmmaker too took to his Instagram handle writing about the wrap of his most awaited project.
The final schedule of ‘Brahmastra’ was filmed in Varanasi and Ayan, Alia and Ranbir posed in front of the famous Vishwanath Temple. The movie is a combination of mythology and science fiction and will be released in 5 Indian languages starring Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The movie will release on 9th September in the theatres in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.
