Abhishek Banerjee is a noted Indian actor and casting director, who is best known for his work in films like ‘Stree’ (2018) , ‘Dream Girl’ (2019) and ‘Bhediya’ (2022). Apart from films, he has also appeared in popular TV series like ‘Pitchers’ (2015) , ‘Mirzapur’ (2018) and ‘Paatal Lok’ (2020). According to the latest development, the actor will soon be seen in the upcoming flick ‘Section 84’ along with Amitabh Bachchan and Diana Penty. The courtroom drama thriller is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
Confirming the news, Abhishek said, “Even when I didn’t know anything about acting, I knew only one name, Amitabh Bachchan. I am thankful to the director Ribhu Dasgupta, who gave me this opportunity to work with Amitabh Bachchan sir in the same film. Sharing the same frame with him was my childhood dream and with this film, my dream is going to come true.”
The actor has also shared a post on his Twitter handle in which he wrote, “Grateful to be working with the legend @SrBachchan. Thank you @ribhudasgupta for giving me this opportunity to turn this dream into reality.”
