The much awaited ‘Ganapath’ teaser is here, which is making us believe it to be bigger than expected. Two years ago, when the announcement was made, it showed us the first glimpse of Tiger Shroff in a rough and tough avatar, which instantly broke the internet.
Now the teaser has made netizens amazed with Amitabh Bachchan’s unrecognisable mentor avatar and Kriti Sanon’s first ever action avatar. Whilst we have seen Big B’s this look more or less in ‘Brahmāstra’ (2022) before, Sanon’s extreme toned figure with mind-blowing action sequences is definitely a surprise to the audience.
The one-minute-forty-six-seconds video gives a futuristic spin of 2070 AD. It teleports you to the world of no mercy, where everyone is getting severely tortured and killed. Basically it shows a world of dystopian era. Tiger is seen meditating somewhere in a quiet, dark and calm place. He seems to be the saviour for all.
With advanced technology and power packed action sequences, ‘Ganapath’ promises to be a never-seen-before thriller. In the teaser we got to hear Big B saying in the background, “Yeh ladai tab tak mat ladna, jab tak hamara yodha na aajaye (Do not start violence untill our soldier arrives)” and it ends with Shroff saying, “Jab apne ke apno pe aati hai na, toh apni satak jaati hai (When it comes to my own people, I give a damn about anyone).”
Directed by Vikas Bahl, starring Tiger Shroff, Amitabh Bachchan, Kriti Sanon, Elli AvrRam and Shataf Figar, ‘Ganapath’ is set to hit the theatres on October 20, 2023.
