‘The Expendables’ is one of the classic franchises of Hollywood, that is a deep favourite of the action genre lovers. All its earlier three parts worked big time with the audiences from the past thirteen year. With Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham’s powerful acting, Stallone’s direction along with amazing adventure sequences, ‘The Expendables’ has always remained at the top when it comes to action films.
In this era, when makers mostly prefer CGI, ‘The Expendables’ try to follow the old school method. And now Stallone has made it clear that the fourth part will be rated R, that is, it’ll only be for adults. Even the trailer celebrates the R rating by referring to it as “red band”.
The official trailer was dropped yesterday and the extreme violent visuals are already making a lot of hype on the internet. This fourth part shows the return of Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham together along with other stars like Megan Fox, Dolph Lundgren, Steven Seagal, Andy García and Randy Couture.
To make it more thrilling, the trailer teases the audiences by mentioning that this sequel will not pass over “all the blood and guts”. The amount of violence and action clips shown in the trailer prove that the villains are going to face some horrific deaths.
Directed by Scott Waugh, starring Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Megan Fox in the leads, ‘The Expendables 4’ aka ‘Expend4bles’ will hit the theatres on September 22, 2023.
