Suniel Shetty has had a long and rewarding career, which was not just confined to Bollywood. He has proved his acting skills by working in Tamil, Telugu, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. The actor-turned-producer was recently seen in shows like ‘Dharavi Bank’ (2022) and ‘Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega’ (2023). Recently, in a podcast, the actor made a shocking revelation that he used to get calls from the underworld in the ’90s.
The actor shared that he used to get calls from the underworld regularly, but he was never scared and that he handled it on his own. He said, “We were at a time when the underworld was roaming here (in Mumbai). You know I used to get calls. ‘I will do this, I will do that.’ I used to abuse back. The policemen were telling me, ‘Listen, you are mad. You don’t understand, they will get upset and they can do anything.’ I said, ‘What? I am not wrong, protect me. What did I do?’”
The actor added that his family has no idea about this and added, “I never told Athiya and Ahaan what I did. I did some crazy things. Got injured, got out of it and myself and that’s where I always say time is the best healer”.
