‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ (2023), starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, which was released on March 8, received positive reviews and also performed well at the box office. The film recently completed fifty days in cinemas and now, nearly two months after its theatrical release, Luv Ranjan’s romcom is ready for its OTT premiere.
On its Twitter account, Netflix announced that ‘Tu Jhootha Main Makkaar’ will be out on their platform on May 3. Netflix shared the movie’s poster and added, “Can confirm that this is not a lie, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ is releasing on Netflix on May 3rd.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor were seen working together on the big screen for the first time in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ and along with them notable stars like Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia were also seen in prominent roles.
Reportedly made on a budget of around Rs 95 Crore, ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ collected Rs 14 Crore on the first day while its lifetime collections stood at Rs 146.6 Crore.
