Director Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, who have delivered several successful films, are going to join hands once again for the third installment of their action drama franchise ‘Singham’ (2011). Earlier it was announced that the duo will release the third installment, ‘Singham Again’, on their favourite date, Diwali, next year. But today it has been announced officially that the film will release in cinemas on Independence Day 2024.
Talking about the shooting of the film, it will go on floors from August this year. Last year, during the promotions of ‘Cirkus’ (2022), Rohit Shetty revealed that Deepika Padukone has been signed opposite Ajay in the film and she will be seen essaying a female cop in the action drama.
The film was formally announced during a scene of ‘Sooryavanshi’ (2021), starring Akshay Kumar, in which Ajay Devgn was seen in a cameo as Bajirao Singham. It is also being said that Akshay Kumar will be seen as Sooryavanshi while Ranveer Singh will be essaying Simmba in special appearances in ‘Singham Again’.
