Producer Firoz Nadiadwala has been in the limelight for the last two weeks as he has finally managed to revive ‘Hera Pheri 3’ with its lead cast. Last week, the team even shot an announcement promo, which will be out soon. The third installment of the franchise is assigned to Farhad Samji, who will be directing the film.
Now the latest we heard is that Firoz Nadiadwala is all set to start the sequel to his film ‘Awara Paagal Deewana’ (2002) later this year. The film, was in the scripting stage for a long time and reportedly, the makers have locked down a perfect script that will take the franchise forward with a new story.
Firoz Nadiadwala, who was looking for an ideal script for a long time, is ready to start the pre-production of the film later this year with director Ahmed Khan, who will also be directing the sequel, which was originally directed by Vikram Bhatt.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, the latest addition to the cast of the sequel is John Abraham, who will be seen playing an important role in the action entertainer. While the sequel will see the trio playing their original roles from the original film, the character of John is still under wraps by the makers.
With ‘Awara Paagal Deewana 2’, producer Firoz Nadiadwala and director Ahmed Khan aim to take the franchise to the next level. The report also states that the film will be shot abroad, and the makers are planning to rope in international action directors to design the action sequences for the film.
Apart from ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and ‘Awara Paagal Deewana 2’, Firoz Nadiadwala is also aiming to take ‘Welcome 3’ on floors by next year.
