The moving biopic of Srikanth Bholla, titled ‘SRI’ went on floors yesterday. It is backed by T-Series and Chalk N Cheese Films Production LLP. Producers Bhushan Kumar, Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani, along with the lead pair Rajkummar Rao, Alaya Furniturwala, the director Tushar Hiranandani and the man himself industrialist Srikanth Bholla were present at the subh mahurat.
Actress Jyothika, predominantly known in the Tamil Film Industry, along with Sharad Kelkar have also been signed to join the ensemble cast of ‘SRI’. Written by Sumit Purohit and Jagdeep Sidhu, the film is a biopic of an industrialist Srikant Bholla, who did not let his visual impairment come in the way of his vision and founded Bollant Industries.
