The title teaser of KVN Productions next venture, ‘KD-The Devil’ was unveiled with great fanfare in Bangalore. From the actors of the film, Dhruva Sarja and Sanjay Dutt to director Prem and producers Suprith and Raghu of KVN Productions, it was a star-studded event. The impactful teaser was all about the First’s for the Kannada Film Industry, a close knit family of producers, who have put South Indian cinema on the global map with back-to-back super hits like ‘KGF: Chapter 2’, ‘Kantara’, ‘Charlie 777’ to name a few this year. The title teaser of ‘KD-The Devil’ is even more special due to these five interesting facts.
The first pan-India film from the Kannada film industry, ‘KD-The Devil’ marks the very first film from this industry that has been conceptualised, shot and curated keeping the Pan Indian scale in mind.
The first movie that was shot for a title teaser before the actual shoot:
A five-day special schedule was undertaken just for the shooting of this epic teaser that took the world by storm. This is the very first time that a movie team has spent five days shooting for a grand title reveal teaser, setting the bar high for what is to come next.
Voiceovers by legends in the industry:
The teaser boats of voiceovers by legends in the industry from Kannada , Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies. Director Prem has himself voiced the Kannada version, while Sanjay Dutt, Vijay Sethupathi and Mohanlal have voiced the Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam versions respectively. This is a feat that hasn’t been achieved in the Indian Film Industry before.
Unity in presenters:
For the first time ever, presenters will combine on a pan-Indian scale. While KVN Productions will be the presenters of the Kannada version, the Hindi version will be presented by AA Films headed by Anil Thadani. The Telugu version will be presented by one of Telugu Film Industry’s biggest names, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram headed by Sai Korrapati. The Tamil version will be presented by legendary Tamil distribution company Red Giant Movies headed by Udhayanidhi Stalin. The Malayalam version will be presented by Aashirvad Cinemas headed by Antony Perumbavoor.
