We have previously discussed that the Sidharth Malhotra-Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Thank God’ and Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Ram Setu’ are going to clash at box office this Diwali on October 25. And now, we have come up with another exciting news.
Seems like fireworks will continue till November, post Diwali, as ‘Double XL’ and ‘Phone Bhoot’ are also coming to entertain us in cinemas on the same day, November 4. While ‘Double XL’ is a full-on comedy drama, ‘Phone Bhoot’ is a horror-comedy and both the trailers have already created quite vibes among the netizens.
‘Double XL’ stars Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles and the story is about the journey of two plus-size women named Rajshree Trivedi (Huma Qureshi) from Meerut and Saira Khanna (Sonakshi Sinha) from New Delhi, as they navigate society’s beauty standards. Huma and Sonakshi are coming together for the first time and the trailer has portrayed a gripping bond between the two. The story seems to have struck audiences’ heart, as body shaming is a big issue in today’s society, especially among youngsters.
On the other hand, ‘Phone Bhoot’ has also shown us Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s surprising collaboration for the first time. The trailer of the film has promised that it boasts of an exciting story and a nice combo of horror and comedy. The quirky music has also grabbed audiences’ attention.
‘Double XL’ is directed by Satramm Ramani and ‘Phone Bhoot’ is directed by Gurmmeet Singh.
