The gorgeous singer, Selena Gomez, who is currently making quite headlines for the second season of her mystery series, ‘The Only Murders In The Building’ (2021), has recently opened up about her long desire and how she wants to fulfill it.
On this Friday, August 5, in TaTaTu’s video podcast, ‘Giving Back Generation’, the 30-year-old singer-actor revealed that she wants to quit her career in Hollywood and get married soon and finally become a mother. While talking to the show hosts, Raquelle Stevens and Ashley Cook, Gomez shared, “I hope to be married and to be a mom. Eventually, I am going to be tired of all of this, so I am probably just going to devote most of my life to philanthropy before I peace out.”
Selena also talked about how she gathered all the courage to finally become a parent while watching her 8-year-old half sister, Gracie Teefay grow and said, “She puts things in perspective. I have to basically watch this little person grow into a human being. There’s no better feeling in the world. I kind of feel like a parent in a way, even though I am not.”
This is not the first time the “We Don’t Talk Anymore” singer has talked about her desire. Previously during a guest appearance on The Hollywood Reporter’s podcast, ‘Awards Chatter’ in June, she divulged about her long desire and said, “I would have four kids for sure. Maybe not planned, maybe planned, maybe both. And there’s nothing wrong with the life I would have led.”
“I just know that that’s not my path and I am really grateful I had my mom to give me that opportunity to be what I want to be”, Gomez further continued.
