The iconic spy-thriller ‘Mission Impossible’ franchises are entertaining us for over two decades now, since the first part was released in 1996. Not only the storyline, but also our favourite OG star, Tom Cruise has never failed to impress us with his breath taking action, as well as charming looks. The sixth part of the franchises ‘Mission Impossible – Fallout’ was released in 2018.
Now, the seventh part ‘Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ has finally wrapped up after several halters due to the pandemic and is coming to thrill us again now. The makers, Paramount Pictures, has recently released the official trailer of the film, where we can see Tom Cruise reprising his role as a spy action hero, Ethan Hunt. This is the first installment of the ‘Dead Reckoning’ series of this franchise.
The trailer starts with Ethan (Tom Cruise) being told that his days of fighting for the greater goods are over and now, he needs to pick a side, when it comes to international espionage. Ethan seemed to then fly off to South Africa. Cruise is seen jumping off from a mountain cliff on a bike, holding on to a plane while flying to South Africa, fighting with goons on top a running train and many more stunts, for which he is famous for.
With the return of director, Christopher McQuarrie, ‘Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ also marks the return of Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby and Ving Rames, reprising their respective roles and new cast includes Hayley Atawell, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Angela Bassett, Shia Whigham and Frederick Schmidt.
‘Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ is all set to have a theatrical release on July 14, 2023, followed by ‘Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two’ on June 28, 2024.
