Vidhika Nagpal, daughter of actress Deepshikha Nagpal, gears up to commence her modelling career. The beauty, who is already a star on Instagram with over 29k followers, has been receiving multiple films, TV and OTT shows by renowned directors and production houses, however she has chosen to prioritise her modelling career and gradually transitioning into films and entertainment.
Vidhika’s inclination towards films can be traced through her love for the craft. The aspiring actress has learnt direction from the prestigious New York Film Making Academy and SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College. She has also assisted director Inder Kumar in Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh starrer film ‘Thank God’, which is going to release in July.
Vidhika Nagpal admits that she knew she had a large platform she could fall back on because of her mother’s fame but she knew she had to work even harder to get the same jobs as other aspiring models, “Some may say nepotism and some may say privilege, yes I am privileged because my mother has left a legacy which is difficult to match, I am even prepared for the comparisons but all I can say that my work will speak for itself. People may give me my first project because of my mother, but I know I have to earn my second.”
