Shoojit Sircar’s Rising Sun Films production house and Ronnie Lahiri, with a diverse range from family entertainers like ‘Vicky Donor’ (2012), ‘Madras Cafe’ (2013), ‘Piku’ (2015), ‘Pink’ (2016), ‘October’ (2018) and ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ (2020), is set to present a diverse bonanza this month the much awaited ‘Sardar Udham’ starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role on 16th October and ‘Deep6’ at the Busan Film Festival.
‘Deep6’ directed by Madhuja Mukherjee and produced by Rising Sun Pvt. Ltd., Avik Mukhopadhayay and Editfx Studios is all set to kick-start multiple screenings 26th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), from today, till Monday, culminating in a special Q&A session with audiences.
The film will premiere under the ‘A Window on Asian Cinema’ section, which presents the best and the new and exceptional films by Asian cine-artistes. Deep6 is set in 2011 Kolkata and stars Tillotama Shome, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Sumeet Thakur, Maya Ghosh, Sumanta Mukherjee and Soumitra Chatterjee.
