Lead actor and director of the movie, Sunny Deol has confirmed a Diwali release for the much-awaited Ghayal sequel. Ghayal which was released on 8th June 1990, won him the Filmfare Best Actor Award and also his first National Film Award. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, music by Bappi Lahiri was very popular.
Last seen in Dishkiyaoon, which didn’t perform as expected at the box office, Sunny Deol is handling direction after a gap of 16 years. Dillagi was his first directorial project.
Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have been roped in for the music of Ghayal Once Again.
