India’s leading production and distribution studio, Sony Pictures Films India has announced its next project ‘Saale Aashiq’, which will mark the directorial debut of the Hindi film industry’s top writers Siddharth – Garima.
A gritty youth drama, ‘Saale Aashiq’ is set to go on the floor in the second half of 2021.
Siddharth and Garima rose to fame as writers and lyricists for their work in blockbusters such as ‘Ram Leela’ (2013), ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015), ‘Padmaavat’ (2018), ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha’ (2017), and more recently in ‘Kabir Singh’ (2019). With their much-awaited debut as directors, Sony Pictures Films India is reinforcing its commitment as a writer and director-led studio.
