Music composer Sohail Sen, who sung extensively for his earlier films refrained from lending his voice to any of his compositions. He did go behind the mike occasionally (“Gunday” – Gunday) but mostly, he preferred sticking to his role as a composer. Sen, who had sung many as nine songs in What’s Your Raashee is back with a new single “Isq Risk Rebirth”, which as the name suggests is a reimagined version of his hit song “Isq Risk” from ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.’

The music video sees him performing with a bunch of musicians which include Nishad Bhatt (acoustic guitar), Sanam Sen (electric guitar), Harshit Mishra (drums) and Sufiyan Bhatt (keyboards). While the original, sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, had a very Indian sound to it but here, “Isq Risk Rebirth”, has a more contemporary sound characterised by western instruments. It would not be fair to compare the two tracks as Sohail and his team of musicians have given a new flavour which makes it sound different from the original.
