Last month, we had reported that Karan Johar has signed ‘2 States’ fame Abhishek Varman for his next movie under his home banner. Now we have got some inside news about the casting of the movie. According to a reliable source, this film will have two leading heroes. Varun Dhawan has been approached to play the one while the searching for second male lead is still on. (Please note that there is no confirmation about Varun doing this film yet)
We have also heard that the film, reportedly a period love story set against the backdrop of the Indo-Pak Partition, has been titled ‘Shiddat’. It was earlier named ‘Kalank’ but now the makers have finally settled on ‘Shiddat’. It will be jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Watch this space for more info!
