9XM Media Managing Director Pradeep Guha has passed away today on 21st August due to cancer. He was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital and was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer three weeks ago and was critically ill. He was on ventilation and was being treated by Dr.Sloan Kettering from the US.
Pradeep Guha worked for about three decades as President for Times Of India. Later he became the CEO of ZEE Telefilms. He produced films like, ‘Fiza’ (2000), ‘Mission Kashmir’ (2000) and ‘Phir Kabhi’ (2008). He has also instigated some iconic events in the Hindi film industry such as Filmfare Award show and Femina Miss India show.
The whole Hindi film industry is shocked and mourning his demise. Director Subhash Ghai has recently took to his Twitter and posted his condolence.
