In a career spanning 16 years, ever since she made her debut with ‘Refugee’, Kareena Kapoor Khan has done close to 50 films as the leading lady. On the other hand Arjun Kapoor, who started his career with ‘Ishaqzaade’ just four years back in 2012, has done only six films as the male lead. With a difference in experience of 12 years and 44 films, there is quite a wide gap between the two Kapoors.
However, now that the duo is coming together, one wonders how Kareena’s experience bounced off on Arjun during the making of the Balki directed affair.
Smiles Arjun, “Well, it really helps when your co-actor is not interfering in your work and moreover, she has an ability to not interfere in someone’s work. That by itself was wonderful as it made me a better performer eventually. She was amazing to work with.”
What further impressed Arjun was the kind of patience that Kareena demonstrated when the shooting was on.
“Yes, she has a lot of patience. Moreover, her inherent personality adds so much credibility to the role that she plays. The part of Kia that she plays in the film needed a lot of nurturing and hats off to her for getting it all done so very well. That made me go an extra mile too and deliver well, says Arjun.
On a parting note, he adds, “Kareena is a true representation of what women can achieve today even after marriage. I always had a lot of respect for her. Now after doing the film with her, it has only been enhanced further.”
As for the characters that they play in this Balki and Eros film, we would like to see the results on April 1 once ‘Ki & Ka’ releases all over.
