Umesh Shukla, who earlier helmed ‘Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge’ (2009), ‘OMG – Oh My God!’ (2012) and ‘All Is Well’ (2015), delivers a complete family entertainer, with a very strong dose of emotion. The powerful performances of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor will be highly applauded. Jimit Trivedi is suitable in his supporting cast role. The story (Saumya Joshi) gives a strong message. The screenplay is aptly written and the dialogues are good and clap-worthy throughout the film. However, the pace dips at places and the editing could have been sharper. Salim-Sulaiman misses the opportunity to provide at least one hit number, which is usually required. The audience may not like the idea of the film being based only on two characters, which is mostly suited to plays. Furthermore, the youth would hardly patronize such films but having said that, every youth must watch this film, especially for their parents’ sake. To conclude, if the word of mouth is strong, it will definitely benefit the film.
